Meet the Roods, your real estate team.
Sarah Rood –
Sarah got her start in real estate way back while attending Federal Way High School. As a weekend job, she worked at the local Windermere office where her father got his real estate start. Sarah graduated from Central Washington University in the winter of 2005 and attained her real estate license immediately, starting her career at Keller Williams in Federal Way. After a few months, she was recruited by Matrix Real Estate (then known as MCM) where she worked selling new condos for another six months before heading to their corporate office as a marketing manager and executive assistant. Sarah has been assisting buyers, sellers and builders since 2006 in Snohomish, King and Pierce counties. With a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a strong marketing background, Sarah’s favorite part of real estate now is marketing homes for sale. She loves to crunch the numbers and earn sellers their top dollar! When not working, Sarah loves wine tasting in Woodinville and watching the sailboat races on Lake Union from the family pontoon.
Chris Rood –
Chris has worked in healthcare for the last 20 years and attained his real estate license in 2017. Since then, he’s been off to a quick start – he had over 15 sales to his name in his first six months selling real estate! Chris has already helped buyers and sellers from Snohomish to Bonney Lake. His career background taking care of people puts him steps ahead in customer service and Chris isn’t happy unless his clients are totally satisfied. Chris loves helping buyers find their dream home and see it through to a reality. He says, “After spending so long in the medical field seeing people on their worst days, nothing gives me more satisfaction than getting to help people have one of their happiest days. Buying a home is a huge achievement for many people and it feels great to be a part of that.” In his free time, Chris is a huge Seattle sports fan and loves attending Seahawks and Mariners games.
Henry Rood –
Henry has been interning since he was born in January 2018. Although he usually prefers to stay at home and play while the rest of team works with clients, he’s great at making sure his mom and dad wake up nice and early each day so they can get straight to business!
Gemma joined the company in August 2019 and is still mastering her training (sleep training, mostly). She’ll mostly be working behind the scenes.
Shawn Rood –
After Henry was born, Shawn was promoted from intern to assistant. His main job duties consist of warming bare feet and making sure throw pillows don’t wander off the couch by resting his chin on top of them. His pay increase was two extra biscuits a day, and he had to sign his pawprint to a non-compete.
